This April, just in time for the school holidays, the Japan Foundation Sydney is proud to present our latest exhibition, Japan: Kingdom of Characters. The exhibition will run from 8 April through to 28 May at the Japan Foundation Gallery, taking visitors through Japan’s most popular characters that have triggered worldwide crazes from 1950s to 2000s.

Eminent Australian shakuhachi player Andrew MacGregor will farewell audiences next week in a performance concert for the Shakuhachi Chamber Music Competition 2010, at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s Melba Hall.

Sydney-based artist Sarah Goffman will present her live art installation Trashcan Dreams, in collaboration with Yasuaki Morita and Lina Ritchie of the Yanaka Group, Tokyo at Performance Space from October 21 to 30.
