Peter EvansSydney foodie scene heavyweights Peter Evans and Raita Noda are preparing a degustation fundraiser at the Ocean Room on Thursday June 2, for the Australian Red Cross Japan and Pacific Disaster Appeal 2011.
Peter and Raita will add a Japanese twist to the first four courses, followed by a special dessert course from Jean-Michael Raynaud and his cohorts at Baroque Bistro and Patisserie. Welcome cocktails mixed with Japanese philosophy and served by Hugo’s Catering and Pernod Ricard, along with matched wines and sake will complete the picture, all for $150 per person.
A fundraising auction for the appeal, including a private dinner at the Ocean Room, and a corporate cooking class courtesy of Hugo’s will also be held on the evening.
